AV Troubleshooting – Ponderosa Commons Ballroom

Video issues

  1. Check that the HDMI cables are securely connected to the laptop and the panel wall ports.
  2. Ensure that the correct input is selected from the panel. Select HDMI 1 or 2/ VGA 1 or 2 depending on the ballroom’s side.
  3. For Windows computers, check your display settings are correctly configured to duplicate your screen to the projector.
  4. For Apple computers, check settings through Airplay to view connected devices. Display settings can be configured here to mirror or separate displays and optimize for desired output.

Audio issues

  1. Check that the HDMI cables are securely connected to the laptop and the panel wall ports.
  2. For Windows computers, please check that your volume is not muted.
  3. For Windows computers, check sound settings and select the correct output device.
  4. For Apple computers, navigate to the output tab through the Sound menu in System Preferences.

Additional presentation issues

  1. If your presentation only displays on one projector, select “Send to all displays” from the panel.
  2. Ensure that “Blank Screen” is not selected on the panel.

Microphone issues

  1. If no sound comes through the microphones, ensure they are not muted or set to low volume on the panel.
  2. The microphones display battery levels. If they are low, call (604) 827-0720 for replacements.
